STATUS QUO Drummer Raises $7,300 For David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation

April 27, 2009

STATUS QUO drummer Matt Letley completed the London Marathon on Sunday, April 26 with a very respectable time of 4 hours 50 minutes! Matt said, "From halfway onwards, it gets really tough and I began to slow dramatically. The only consolation is that you know everyone else is feeling the same. I would just like to say many thanks to all the fans that came along to cheer me on, it really helped!"

By completing the course, Matt raised over £5,000 (approximately $7,300) for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, recently voted in a BBC poll as one of the most effective and popular wildlife charities in Britain.

If you want to donate post-race, you can still do so at this location.
